Victoria University of Wellington is also a Public University of New Zealand which was founded in the year 1897.
The university has around 17,000 students out of which 4,000 are international students. The university provides several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It also has 40 research centres which provide the students with an opportunity of gaining practical knowledge while learning at the university.
